Camping Hot Water Heater
A camping hot water heater in the middle of any season is not a luxury, it's a necessity! Water everywhere is not enough for a pleasant camping experience to make. Ice water in the Winter is never correct for making your English tea! Water has to be heated to just the right temperature before being used. All the camping equipment in the world does not make camping fun if one has to bathe or wash the hands and face in water that is not nice and hot. The skin must be warmed to open capillaries and bring blood to the surface of the skin. The face turns a nice rosy pink and the hands become chapped by the the chilling effects of unwarmed water. In the Summer, Daddy checks the camping gear to make sure everything is in order before going on a camping vacation. Soon, everyone piles into the RV and they are headed off down the road, ready for adventure in the woods. Out on the road in an RV, the hot water makes washing dishes easier and more pleasant. They will not use as much dish detergent when cleaning up because there will be more suds. Silverware will come cleaner, counters will be sparklier, and pots and pans will be devoid of food and crud that otherwise clings and sticks to dishes like dirty pieces of gum to the underside of a school desk. Camping is so much more fun when there is hot water. At the campsite, they hook up to a cold water source, fed from an underground spring. The spring water comes from caverns deep in the ground where it is very cold. The heater warms it up from what seems like just above freezing so the family can enjoy. Washing hair under freezing water is like hitting the scalp with tiny daggers shaped like icicles. Each hair follicle feels like it is being poked and jabbed until one can not stand it. The shampoo never completely dissolves in the water, doesn't coat the hair, is wasted and ends up going down the drain. |
